OAZ's robust, reliable, easy-to-use Debit Card Calling system empowers service providers or telephone companies to offer Prepaid Telephone service. Their service Subscribers i.e. Debit Card holders can make local, domestic or international calls using their Prepaid Calling Card.

Debit Card holders initiate prepaid calls by dialing the access number of the Debit Card System. Once connected, the system plays voice messages requesting the subscriber for PIN and destination telephone number. The OAZ Debit Card system also reports monetary or time limits on subscriber's card for the call.

Subscribers can call from Anywhere

The system works from any touch-tone phone. This is in contrast to conventional systems which use expensive specially-equipped payphones requiring magnetic, optical or smart cards, that store account information, and which have proven to be both capital and maintenance intensive.

OAZ's Debit Card system runs unattended round the clock to provide call services to all Debit Card holders. Debit Card holders can call the Debit Card System by dialing the service access number - typically a toll-free number.

Mobility with Convenience

Subscribers are free to call from anywhere within the area of service by the service provider.

It is convenient since there is no need to carry coins or make changes to make calls. There are no issues about the phone bills since it is a prepaid telephone service and the service access numbers are toll-free i.e. 800 numbers.

No Financial Risks

These prepaid phone cards give service providers an opportunity to collect revenue in advance of the service provided.

While debit card subscribers enjoy the same convenience and flexibility that other calling cards provide, debit card service providers have virtually none of the financial risks associated with other calling cards - no collection difficulties and no bad debts from fraudulent use of stolen cards.

Operator assistance free system

OAZ's Debit Card System has an Automated Operator Attendant and is used to provide calling services to debit card subscribers without any manual operator assistance.

The system has a capability to process up to 1024 incoming and outgoing simultaneous calls to dial local, domestic and international telephone numbers. The proposed system database is initially designed to process up to 25 Million debit card subscribers. The System can be cascaded to increase the capacity by providing additional ports.
